Retail Partner FAQ
We get it. This product is unlike anything most people have encountered. If we’re doing our jobs right, you’re seeing it in places you never thought it could exist!
Below are just a few of the questions we get about BIS.
The short answer is "No".
Having said that, there are a handful of places that need you to get a hemp sale license so always double check your local laws.
BIS uses hemp derived THC. Hemp was made legal by the 2018 Farm Bill.Â
Hemp is defined as a cannabis plant with a THC potency below 0.3% THC.
BIS meets that definition and is therefore considered a Federally compliant Hemp Product.
Unless your specific city/county/state specifically prohibits the sale of hemp products in an establishment that serves/sells alcohol it should be a non issue.
When in doubt double check your local laws.Â
First you need to understand the difference between potency and weight.
Potency: The concentration of a given ingredient. In this case 0.3% THC.
Weight: The total amount of a given ingredient. In this case 7.5 milligrams.
Non-THC Based Example:Â In a 1 lb bag of sugar the Potency of that sugar is the same.Â
If you put an entire pound of sugar by Weight, into a cake the Potency of the sugar is the same, but the amount available sugar is much higher by Weight. The end result is a super sweet cake.
This product can create an "intoxicating" effect. While there is no specific age mandate for us to follow we are marketing it to people 21 and older.
Some states may require people to be 18+ but its just easier to require consumers to be 21+.
Yes, if you're someone who has to do regular or random drug screening this product isn't for you.
You will absolutely test positive for THC if you consume this product.
Unless you are somewhere that has a specific carve out for hemp sales, NO.
This could include:
- Gaming Licenses
- Keno Licenses
- Tobacco Licenses
- Liquor Licenses
- Gentleman's Clubs
- Spa/Nail Salon
As always check with your local laws and licensing agencies before selling BIS.
